Schoolmistress, (1869) downgraded to sewing mistress when school nationalised in 1872. Her daughter took her place in 1876 and after 1877 when she became ill. She died in early 1882. 29 – in 1879 Mrs Mary Roberts (typo ? Miss?) listed as national schoolteacher.

Thomas (=John), James, George, Fred, Edith, Maggie, Sarah, Louisa, Arthur (=Joe), William (=Billy), Annie, Ellenor and Harry Walster. All survived and married except Sarah who died in teens. 15 Mary – in 1881 couple and 3 children living with her parents John/Sarah.
